Terms of use
Using KeepCal
By using KeepCal you agree to these terms. You must be at least 13 years old. Weight-loss goals are for people 18 and over. KeepCal is free to use and has no ads. If we ever add paid features, the free core stays free and we'll tell you first.
Not medical advice
KeepCal gives general estimates, not medical advice. Calorie targets, nutrition values and projections may be wrong. Talk to a doctor or dietitian before making big changes to your diet, especially if you are pregnant, have a medical condition or a history of disordered eating.
Food data
Much of the food data comes from Open Food Facts and other public sources, and from other people, so it can be incomplete or wrong. You can edit a food for yourself and report a problem. We don't guarantee that any food's values are accurate.
Your account and data
Your data is yours. You can export it and delete your account at any time in the app. How we handle it is described in the privacy policy. Anonymous accounts with no activity for 12 months are deleted. Don't misuse the service: no attacks on it, automated sign-ups, or attempts to access other people's data.
Availability and liability
We work to keep KeepCal running, but it is provided "as is" without warranties, and we may change or stop it. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on the app. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be limited.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will tell you in the app about important changes. Questions: support@keepcal.app.
